Description
Babycat by Yves Saint Laurent takes vanilla in a darker direction. Part of YSL’s Le Vestiaire des Parfums collection, it pairs bourbon vanilla with black pepper, incense, suede, and cedar.
The opening is peppery and smoky, with elemi, olibanum, and saffron adding a dry, resinous warmth. Vanilla brings warmth to the smoke and spice, while suede and cedar give the fragrance a smooth, sophisticated finish.
Babycat is sensual, with just enough smoke and spice to set it apart from other vanilla perfumes.
