Description
31 Rue Cambon by Chanel is a soft woody floral chypre with citrus, smooth florals, and a warm, earthy base. Part of the Les Exclusifs de Chanel collection, it takes its name from the Paris address at the center of Gabrielle Chanel’s world.
Perfumer Jacques Polge described it as “an oakmoss-free chypre.” Bergamot and green notes brighten the opening, with black pepper adding a dry touch of spice. Iris, rose, and ylang-ylang soften the fragrance, while patchouli and labdanum bring warmth and depth.
Elegant but never stiff, 31 Rue Cambon stays close to the skin with a subtle sensual richness. It works just as well at the office as it does at dinner, with a warm, balanced character that feels distinctly Chanel.
