Description
La Colle Noire by Dior from La Collection Privée is a rose chypre inspired by Christian Dior's beloved estate in the south of France. A lifelong lover of roses, Dior filled the gardens of La Colle Noire with flowers that reminded him of his childhood home in Granville. The fragrance captures that love of roses, with Centifolia rose from Grasse bringing a fresh, slightly fruity sweetness and a rich floral character.
As La Colle Noire settles, earthy and woody notes add warmth to the rose, while soft mossy nuances give it a more grounded feel. The rose remains at the center, but there's a lovely contrast between its fresh floral sweetness and the deeper notes underneath. It's a beautiful rose fragrance with a little more depth than you might expect.
